Depeche Mode Reunion
Former bandmates Vince Clarke and Martin Gore — who parted ways professionally nearly 30
years ago when Clarke quit Depeche Mode — are collaborating on a 'techno-ish track' called "Zaat" that
could be destined for the forthcoming Erasure album. The former Depeche Mode/Yazoo-man revealed the
collaboration via Clarke's The Cabin Twitter account, saying simply: “Am working on the track ‘Zaat’.
Collaborating with Martin (Gore) (from Basildon)”.
In a previous tweet, Clarke mentioned the same song calling it a 'techno-ish' track. The picture above of Vince
and Mart was taken circa 2007 and orginally posted on the official Erasure website.

Alan Wilder joins Martin Gore on stage for "Somebody"
Alan Wilder shocked Depeche Mode fans this evening at the Royal Albert Hall in London as he
took the stage with Martin Gore to play piano on 'Somebody'. A truly historic moment in the world of Depeche Mode,
one that most fans never thought would see. Who knows what this may mean for the future? A glimpse of hope for a
return, perhaps?
The historic moment can be seen in these 2 video clips below:
From www.side-line.com:
"Wilder left Depeche Mode after 13 years in 1995. Fans worldwide are now
speculating about a possible return though we honestly think this was a one-off thing for charity as Wilder
explains on his blog:"Dave contacted me a few weeks back and asked if I'd be
willing to join them on-stage. He assured me that everyone in the band was into the idea. I was very happy to
accept, especially as it was all in a good cause and we were long overdue some kind of reunion of this sort.
It was great to see everyone again and catch up a bit, and it was also the first time I have actually 'seen'
Depeche Mode perform!""
